This was another early story of mine, one that I still find utterly charming! I love exploring the concept of MLP through the toyline, so this was that idea taken to the extreme - a human and pony interacting, but the pony is the size of an actual toy pony. My original blurb hinted at another chapter, although it never happened! Colgate was a fan favorite even from the early days, so I wanted to embrace her love of toothpaste in this story. She wasn't officially named at the point that I wrote this story, so while I use the tag 'Minuette', she is addressed by the fan name Colgate.

This is a bit of an odd idea I had bouncing around in my head. I haven't seen any stories with this particular twist before, which makes me think it's a bit of a weird concept! But it was fun to write, and although I like it as a oneshot, I'm debating writing more chapters. I don't want to take away from the charm of something sweet and short, but I also would like to explore the world a little more.

This was one of my earlier stories, written for some kind of challenge to write an April Fool's Day themed fic. I included a lot of world-building that still holds up, since it never got contradicted in the series! The concept of 'Derpy Hooves' not being silly/weird but instead speaking a dead language is a bit of worldbuilding that I am still proud of. I put it on my DA and my Fanfiction account, but never here for some reason. I thought it might be nice to share a throwback story! Here's my original blurb for it:

The annual April Fool's Day Festival has come to Ponyville, and all of the ponies are having a great time! But when Derpy Hooves starts acting strangely, will Twilight Sparkle be able to help her?

This is an adventure-type fic, more in lines with what an actual episode of Friendship is Magic might be like. Enjoy!

Celestia and Luna have many duties as the leaders of their realm, such as raising the sun and the moon; but there are other duties, while less pressing, that must also be fulfilled. When those duties require an unwilling betrothal, Luna flees the palace, afraid of summoning Nightmare Moon with the force of her rage. With the help of the commoner Donut Joe, she treks across the unforgiving landscape of Equestria, facing monsters and risking her life while forging a new friendship - but will her escape have been for nothing?

"Derpy Hooves" is the nickname given to the strange, awkward mare who lives on the edges of Ponyville. What will happen when Princess Celestia sends her a guardian to help socialize her - without her knowledge? How will Derpy handle the discovery that her "friend" was hired to be her babysitter? Against the backdrop of the beautiful Winter Wishes Festival, can Honey Muffin help Derpy Hooves learn to be normal? And what happens if 'normal' isn't something Derpy wants to be?

Warnings: None, this is a very strong friend-shippy fanfic. There are some brief moments of nuzzling that could be read as femshipping, but in the end, it's left up to the reader's interpretation. The only warning would be for the OC, Honey Muffin, who was created as a foil to Derpy Hooves in this story.

As far as the tags go, these aren't 100% accurate; although the story does have many [Sad] elements, it ultimately has a happy ending. Also, although I didn't tag it as [Romance], it could be read that way, but mostly, it should be tagged as [Very Strong Friend-Shipping].

When Pinkie Pie asks Applejack to teach her how to bake, AJ is less than thrilled. Pinkie Pie? Learn to bake? It sounds like a disaster waiting to happen! But when Pinkie Pie begins to add an exciting voice-over, making their messy day in the kitchen into a baking show, Applejack begins to realize that baking can be fun even when it's messy.

(Friendshipping, no warnings. Very sweet and in-tune with the mood of the episodes.)

Rainbow Dash is having an awful, terrible, no-good very bad day. Nothing seems to be going right! Pinkie Pie, being a dutiful friend, steps in to whisk her friend away to a one-day-only shop called the Make Me Better Boutique. But will she be able to cheer up her best friend? And will that cheering up lead to something ... more?

(Femshipping, but no wilder than a G/PG movie. Fun fact: This was one of the first (possibly the first?) fics that explored the idea of 'wing boners.')

In this crossover/loose AU of My Little Pony and Batman, Pinkie Pie has appointed herself as official protector of Ponyville after losing her parents to a vicious Manticore attack when she was a child. But when her first real villain appears, will Batpink be able to fight them off? Or will Ponyville be left to the imaginary mercy of the Black Snootie?
