A few weeks ago, I made a blog post announcing I was working on a story, and I'm still working on it, it's just I've gone through five different iterations of it and scrapped each one because it didn't feel right at all. It's a bit of a departure from my usual, and it just never feels right. I'm still working on it, just bear with me if it doesn't come out any time soon.

Well, friends, it's been some time since the itch of fanfiction got under my skin. For a while, I thought I could live a normal life and write actual stories that I could publish, and while I'm still working on that second part, I also have a fanfic idea I really like and am currently figuring out the shape of it, so I guess this is a notice to expect my return. After a little conversation with the friend who inspired the story, I might return with something set in the story's universe.

So, I got an email asking me about my username. I figured this would be a fun little story to tell to people who are mildly curious and feel like wasting a few minutes reading where it came from.
