Celestia has ruled the continent of North Equestria with wisdom, compassion, and infinite patience. Showing great care and love for all her subjects, both pony and human. Though the world is at peace, it's an uneasy peace with the Princess surrounded by enemies on all sides.

Everything she knows is about to be thrown into question however, when a retaliatory attack brings a young filly to her attention that might spell the end of everything she knows and loves.

Harm didn't have the most glamorous life, but it simple and it was hers. A job, four walls, and enough extra cash to afford whatever she was in the mood to indulge in at the moment. A life whose routine was disturbed when a pair of agents for a distant Princess' secret service approached her claiming to have information about a mother she'd never met.

Life isn't as simple as it used to be.

Six mares who've never met, will suddenly be thrown together as an ancient threat returns imperiling their entire world. Now these unlikely heroes must band together, or their entire world is doomed to eternal darkness.

This is a dark fantasy retelling of the series premiere, using Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 edition rules, spells, and monsters. It was an idea that I've been wanting to write for a good while, and I hope folks enjoy it.

Princess Celestia has been ruling Equestria for thousand's of years. She's seen it all. Literally seen it all. And now she's more than a little bored with the day to day hum-drummery of running her Kingdom. Deciding it's time for a little time off, she opts to take a week long vacation. But not just any vacation spot will do. After all what is there to see or do in a world where she's seen and done it all?

Instead she decides to switch places with a willing human participant. It's the slowest week of the year for the Solar Diarch, and she's absolutely confident her choice for a week long stand in will do just fine. The problem is, she doesn't quite get the right human.

The war for Equestria's freedom has ended. The wicked Queen Galaxia and her coalition of evil have been overthrown, and the rightful ruler has retrurned. The majority of Equestria's citizens have spent the last eleven months rebuilding their devastated kingdom while maintaining an optimistic outlook for the future.

A select few however aren't quite as cheered. The events of the final battle forced the hero of the day, Jubilant Surprise going by the name Jennifer once again to depart Equestria for her native Earth. Her home world is in the grip of a madman using stolen chaos magics to cow the human populace, while a new threat is stirring back in Equestria. The fate of both world's could rest in Jennifer's hands, but which will she choose to lend her formidable strength?

Part 4 in Jennifer's stories. Best Babysitter, Settling In, and Galaxia's Equestria all come before it.

She also has no idea how she wound up in the monster filled forest she's come to call home for the past eight months. Or how she picked up a snarky A.I. making its home in her omni-tool.

Erin has been plagued with strange, often painful dreams her whole life. She has a strict medication regiment she has to ahere to in order to keep her dreams and the strange other personalty she shares her head with at bay. On her twenty fifth birthday however her life takes an even greater turn for the bizarre when she discovers a cutie mark has appeared on her hips. Princess Celestia's cutie mark. Now she's changing into a pony with no clue as to why, and the only help she can turn to may in fact be her greatest hindrance.

Set in the TwistedSpectrum's Five Score, Divided by Four setting. If you haven't read it yet I'd recommend giving it a look. Very interesting concept. Though the whole time I was reading it I kept wondering where the Princesses were. He said he didn't plan on using them so I decided I'd have a go at a side-story in his cool universe. XD

After the royal sisters' black hearted mother is inadvertantly awakened by a curious young knight in training, the world is changed for the worse. Celestia and Luna are banished to their respective celestial bodies, division has reformed between the three tribes stronger than ever and even the Elements of Harmony are seemingly lost.

Very few retained their memories of happier times. One of these few has been biding his time, waiting for the right moment to strike and take back Equestria in the name of chaos! ...no? Not chaos? Fine I guess for Harmony. Party poopers.

Sequel to Settling In, not really required reading but the last chapter at least helps set the stage!

A plot between two meddling immortals to find something to occupy their young charges time with sees Laharl, Overlord of the Netherworld stranded in Equestria. Twilight Sparkle is tasked with looking after the displaced demon while a way back home can be found for him.

Unbeknownst to either conspirator dark forces take note of the cheerful little planet inhabited by the peaceful equines, with their own designs for the colorful land.

(technically there are no actual humans since they're all demons or angels...but I threw the human tag on there to be safe)
I feel like a small disclaimer may be needed. I'm planning to take some pretty severe liberties with Equestria and many of the characters from the show, so now and again they may act a bit out of canon character. Just a heads up!

After losing her mother and her closest friend in the same day, Umbra has decided to leave the only home and family she's ever known and venture to the surface with Tak the changeling as her guide. Intent on finding the thief who stole her ghostly friend, and confronting the pony said to be her birth mother Umbra must travel a good distance in an unfamiliar world to achieve either.
