Ehhh, i was thinkin' about that myself, but do you see how she wouldn't really be able to pull off LeChuck's humor? She just doesn't fit. Try to imagine her saying one of LeChuck's lines and you'll see it. She isn't piratey enough, she's too regal.

Sombra has that wild mane, and his domineering presence. He's already a despotic tyrant. It wouldn't be a stretch to turn him into a brutal pirate captain. He's got the looks, the feel, he only needs a voice. We just gotta make him talk, he's too near a match.

So, i think it's comin' together. We can just fudge it and make Sombra talk. That's the only snag, and there no sense in changing the role for that one little thing.

I guess RD would have to be Carla. Darn. I mean, there's other ponies that could take the role, but then it goes into background pony territory.

The CMC as various trios works just fine.

I still say we have to make a Murray. Trixie is well and good, but she doesn't plumb the depths of evil quite like Murray does. Ah well. She'll do in a pinch i suppose.

Yeah, i see where you're coming from with Rarity. What i was touching on was that Elaine was equal parts adventurer and actual governor. I just didn't see the governor-y-ness-ism-ability in Rarity. Twilight, when pushed, has fought quite a bit, so i thought that could indicate some hidden adventurous spirit. And while i would like nothing more than for Rainbow to take Elaine's role, she doesn't strike me as someone who'd actually sit down and do real governing.

Than again... she does actually work for the government, so who knows. Maybe she works even better than we suspect.

Murray is very special. He's equally Guybrush's pal, demonic harbinger of doom, and completely full of himself. I don't know if Trixie really deserves to be Murray, those are big shoes to fill. She's in the right ball park, but i dunno. I'd go so far as to make a Murray than cast one from what we've got to work with.

Now, LeChuck. Spike never really had much beef with Chryslis. Why not Sombra? He has that ghostly aura, he's vague enough that we can do as we please with him. And he's quite mysterious, people would be sufficiently freaked out that they couldn't figure out his weakness (Root Beer).

Who's going to play Otis? Twilight? Scootalioo? Hm....
