So, I've been sitting on the next chapter of Avalanche for some time. At first, it was just because the second two parts seemed redundant. But then I realized I needed to handle dinner and its aftermath, immediately following the previous chapter. Interesting things would happen there, and I totally skipped it.

After that, I should be pretty much ready to drop two more chapters.

So, uh, I accidentally a chapter in A Watchful Eye - Either I accidentally overwrote it after everyone read it, or I just outright skipped uploading it in the first place. I think it used to be in, but now it isn't. I have it on my local copy, thankfully, so nothing's missing except maybe some final edits entered on the site, but it looks all right.

In A Watchful Eye, Hikaru's son, Miroku's father, has been, up to this point, named Kasumi. I had been under the impression that 'Kasumi' was, while usually given to girls, sometimes given to boys, like, say, 'Brook'. But now that I'm rechecking, I cannot find my source on this - it seems to be as thoroughly feminine as 'Alice' (Cooper and In Chains not withstanding).

So, I'm changing it to Mikio. Even if I was right the first time and it's merely uncommon to give a boy.

I updated The Exchange Program with chapter 2, but it appears not to have showed up in peoples' updates. So, you know... Hey, update!

First: A Watchful Eye chapter 5 is in beta-reading. Yay for progress! The future chapters should not be as difficult as this one.

Second: I'm developing several story ideas. If anypony would indicate their degrees of interest, that'd be nice.

1: A short story about saving Applejack's parents
2: A novelette in which Twilight Sparkle goes on an interdimensional 'exchange program' and finds herself body-swapped with a human on Earth (a variant in which MLP ended at gen 3.5). Hijinx ensue.

So, it's been a while since I updated Friendship Is Optimal: A Watchful Eye, aside from adding the horseponyhead nebula cover pic.

I really am working on chapter 4. Sent it off to the beta reader, got 25% of it back. I can rebuild it. Stronger. Faster. Better.

In other news, I was wondering if I should PG-ize My Little Mashup. I think I could, but wonder whether, if I did, it would actually be an improvement worth the effort.
