The PortalSparkle AU is a very self-indulgent New Game+ for the series, focusing on introducing new characters and exploring new stories in Equestria & beyond that occur alongside the main series of events while still respecting the universe, characters & lore setup in the normal Friendship is Magic. Unless stated otherwise, you can expect things to play out much similarly to the normal show.

The stories primarily center around Portal Bump, a dorky pegasus having moved to Ponyville after a fateful decision she made back in Manehattan - and inevitably, runs into Twilight Sparkle on her first day out. There will be romance, there will be comedy, there will be plenty of slice of life stories, cool adventures, and there might even be sadness...

Enter Ponyville through the eyes of a 2014 Anti-Brony's paradoxical Pony OC who's never been to Equestria before. As his supposed life-mission of senseless hatred unravels before his very eyes, he begins to learn truths about himself that leave him questioning - Am I really happy like this?

Meet Red, a pegasus who's never been to Equestria in his life, but was trained with one simple goal - kill all ponies. Imagine his shock when he finally comes face-to-face with his very own race, and he spirals into an entirely new life direction from that moment forward.

Set between the events of Equestria Girls and Season 4, this 10 chapter story has Red go through a journey of self-discovery and self-conflict, and perhaps by the end of it all, she'll have discovered some many new things about herself and made peace. This is a very personal fanfiction piece as a result, and goes into themes of self-expression, gender identity and confronting your past actions.
