Overheard:
"Coffee is indisputable proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy."

I'm not even going to TRY and debate the metaphysics or the objective truth of that statement, but as someone who needs two cups of Community Coffee Dark Roast to make it through his day without trying to throttle a cashier, I appreciate the sentiment.

Had a cold snap in my neck of the woods, and my grandmother burned her entire woodpile in the last one, so somebody had to split and stack another porch load of it for her. I have to say, of all the dilemnas I've ever faced, this may have been my favorite:
