Oh, and I updated again! Which is exciting. I've had a rough past month with the sprained knee + various personal catastrophes, so I'm proud that I managed to swing another update for you all. Ponies are the best distraction from life problems, after all.

I'm afraid the reason my fanfic stalled is nothing very exciting.

In August, I had to take a month break because of other writing commitments. When I finally had time to get back into "Of Age", I was horrified to find that all my files of fanfic notes (including the fully-written next several chapters) were no where to be found.

Okay, so editing the new chapter, and noticed possibly the best typo I've ever managed.

What the sentence was supposed to be: Spike had to drag the wagon.

What I actually wrote: Spike had to dragon.

Yes, you heard it hear first, fillies and gentlecolts. Spike had to dragon. It was absolutely critical for Spike to dragon. Dragon with all his might. Go, Spike. Go forth and dragon.

It can be hard to recognize your special talent. Mine took forever to realize. I had things I wanted it to be. Things I still wish it could be. But it's not those things.

It can be easy to get jealous of others with talents you wish you had. Others to whom amazing skills just seem to come naturally.
