A crossover I never thought I'd see. Nehwon's two greatest rogues, Fafhrd and the Grey Mouser, are summoned once again by the alien wizard Ningauble. To where?
Well, several things, actually. A short time ago I wrote a story at Alex Warlorn's request for his 'Conversion Bureau: Not Just Ponies' setting, and it's been posted and will hopefully be approved soon. It's also different in that it's all OCs in it. References are made to several canon characters like Ember, Starlight Glimmer, and Twilight, but the main characters are all new. I hope you folks like them.
The original stories by Manly Wade Wellman will be published again, illustrated, in hardcover, two volumes with both the short stories that have occasionally been reprinted and all five of the novels. The latter have been out of print since the mid-80's, so this is a rare deal.
Unfortunately it's also pricy, with the two-volume set going for $90. But it's not coming out until October of 2019, so there's time to save up.
It took long enough, but Chapter 13 of Realms Undreamed Of is finally up. I hope everyone enjoys this little Halloween Nightmare Night gift!
I also hope some people catch at least a few of the references to other MLP fanfics scattered in the chapter.
With luck the next few chapters will be posted much more swiftly.
Thank you everyone for your patience.
Well, they don't scare me very much when you remember this is all coming from some goof hiding in their mom's basement, but graphic photos of mangled human bodies are an unpleasant viewing experience.
Seriously, over at DA some precious cretin is spamming my comments in one artist's work with snuff porn and death threats because I joked about Trixie. I guess she'd be happy that her fans are so -- devoted, but I find the guy as amusing as a wet fart. Boring, too.
For the first time in 45 years this book is again available, and at a decent price too.
I read a copy of WORSE THINGS WAITING many years ago, the original Carcosa Press edition, and it was magnificent. The illustrations by forgotten artist Lee Brown Coye are also wonderful. Believe me, if you enjoy my Silver John stories here, you will want a copy as badly as I do.

Even if you just spread the word, it can help.
