Further Forays into Drawing · 8:34am Sep 6th, 2016

Many years ago in my somewhat hazy and acne-filled past, I wanted to be a comic artist, and was particularly inspired by Bill Watterson. My hours spent nitpicking over the verbose details of Calvin's many facial expressions left me with a strong Watterson style in a lot of my artwork, I think. Ever since I got hooked on ponies, Andy Price's style has become my favorite of all the pony comic artists.

I'm Back (Sorta?). And art. · 5:49am Jul 28th, 2016

Yeah, I posted a new story, the first story I've posted in a while. Plus, I've started drawing stuff, because I had fun drawing stuff. Call it a revival. Call it a creative renaissance. Call it another crackle in the constant static of internet white noise. Call them feathers on a flightless dawn: no more fit to lift the wings of sparrows than they are to bear the sun across the heavens.

Floating in a Limbo · 7:34pm Nov 6th, 2013

I've gotten stuck in sort of a writing limbo as of late. Not a writer's block exactly, just a strange in-between state where I have a lot of different stories I've started without giving any of them sufficient attention. Plus I think I've been trying to hard to make my stories something I think people will want to read instead of something I want to write. I'm losing the joy of writing in this limbo.

Lunara · 5:04am Oct 14th, 2013

I wanted to continue blogging about my arbitrary musical tidbits, so I'm sorry to those who expected this to be anything about writing. Music was the voice of my soul long before pen and paper grabbed a hold of it. I want to share my experiences with music to hopefully give others that same feeling I feel when I hear a new song that speaks to me.

The Big 1K - Thanks to those who helped me get here! · 10:04am Oct 5th, 2013

School has got me by the throat again, so I don't get the opportunity to get a lot of writing in. When I am finally able to just sit back and toss a few words onto the page, I feel a piece of me living in the text.

Now, what was the point of this blog? Oh yes, 1 K VIEWS. Seeing a fourth digit on that count is kinda satisfying, in a little way. Every writer needs to start somewhere, eh?

Maniacal Mental Machinations (a frustrated MMM!) · 7:10am Sep 24th, 2013

I feel that I'm not the only writer that has this problem, but I'm one of the few writers I know.

"So," I tell my mind, "what do you think would make a good story?"
My mind taps its proverbial chin pensively. "Hmm, you know, I have had a few things on me lately that may work."
"You're not just teasing me, right? You know what happened with the last one, or two." If I know my mind, I know it likes to lead me on for a while.

Cider Time · 6:27am Sep 15th, 2013

I think I'm going to end up posting most of the OST from this game. It is just too good for words, it has to be listened to. If you have ever heard of Dustforce then this is likely to be the song you've heard before. Cider Time is the track for the trailer, and is one of my all-time favorite pieces of fakebit ever composed. I just want to share its greatness with the whole world (or at least my opinion of how brilliant it is). Never mind, it's a fact: this song is absolute

Potential for Anything · 5:47pm Sep 1st, 2013

Don't touch that dial! I've got another fantastic bit of indie game OST I want to share! At this point I feel that VVVVVV must not be too uncommon out there, which is a good thing. It's amazing the creativity of the developers to make a game with such a simple mechanic into something both infuriating and fun. If you don't know, VVVVVV is a side-scrolling adventure game where you play as the captain of an inter-dimensional ship. You and your crew become stranded in a strange

Crystal Kick · 10:38pm Aug 26th, 2013

For those who actually read and care, I may not be actually able to write for a little while. I'm starting school again, as I'm sure many will be if they have not already. Plus, I've hit some writer's block, so I don't anticipate much writing in the near future. Anyway, I want to write about another piece of music I enjoy from an obscure little game called Treasure Adventure Game. This game is exactly what the title implies: a game where you go on an adventure to find treasures. It has a

Mr. Handagote · 8:28pm Aug 20th, 2013

I played this game a few years back after my laptop died. I had to find a non hardware-destroying game to play on the family craptop while I got a new laptop sorted out. So, I came across Machinarium in my Steam library, and thought "What the heck? I'll give it a go." Point-and-click adventure has never really been something to catch my eye. The interactions with the environment and puzzle solving were not things I typically looked for in a game at the time. My first impressions of this
