This story is a sequel to Seven Years

Family had always been a strange notion to Princess Skyla, and anypony who knew her history would never wonder why the filly had such a vague grasp of the concept. Every memory she had of her family was tainted and dark, the photographs of her life smeared and marred by the decisions made by her mother and father, and she couldn't remember a time when she could even think about the word "family" without a black veil of disgust and sadness drawing over her heart. As such, family was never something that Skyla had ever given much thought, unless it was how she was going to get away from them.

Now, however, family is all Skyla can think about. Princess Cadence and Shining Armor have welcomed her with open hooves into their home, and their daughter, Princess Flurry Heart, is overjoyed to suddenly have a "big sister" to learn about and play with. She hasn't been officially crowned a Princess yet, but despite that the whole of the Kingdom is abuzz with news of her, and all of the Princesses of Equestria have all set aside time to come and see her for themselves...

...but try as she might, Skyla can't shake the feeling that something is wrong. Not with anypony else... but with her. She doesn't know how family is supposed to act around each other when they're not trying to scheme and stab you in the back; she has no earthly idea how sisters are supposed to behave around one another, or how a mother and daughter are actually supposed to talk to one another in normal, every day situations. She's a mess, with her heart and head all tangled up in knots that may never come undone -- and that's even before the nightmares start.

Flurry Heart, however, isn't about to give up on her, and with a little bit of help from a lot of different ponies, she'll work hard to show Skyla that a family isn't about the blood that you share, but about the bonds that you forge.

Love. It is a feeling, an ideal that many ponies pursue their whole lives. Some succeed in finding it, and others do not.

That's why Lyra Heartstrings feels so fortunate. She's freshly graduated from Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns, still in the prime of her youth, and she already has a pony whom she loves with all of her heart and soul. It's such a strange feeling, knowing that she has something that other ponies only dream about, and it's not a gift that she's willing to squander.

So, with only a single suitcase to call her own, Lyra sets off to Ponyville in pursuit of the mare of her dreams.

All things told, Princess Flurry Heart really doesn't have any major problems in her life. Sure, she's a Princess and heiress to the throne of the Crystal Kingdom and potential successor to her mother Princess Cadence, who has been, without question, one of the Kingdom's best rulers since it's inception, but she know she'll grow into that.

She might have Princess Twilight Sparkle as an overly-enthusiastic teacher who seems to think she can learn everything there is to know in the world before she hits her teens, but Flurry Heart knows that her Aunt Twilight means well and knows that as long as she tries her best the Princess of Friendship will be happy with her.

All in all, the Princess's life is pretty good, all things considered.

Now if only she could figure out why she's hearing voices late at night: voices that mention crystals, the sky, and her name...

This story is a sequel to The Chronicles of Dark Star: A Blade of Redemption

A thousand years is a very long time. Civilizations can rise and fall in a thousand years; landmarks can wither away and vanish; entire ideologies and belief systems can disappear as quickly as they appeared in the blink of a cosmic eye, leaving behind no trace or, at the very least, no explanation as to what things were like or how things were done in the ancient, by-gone days.

For Dark Star, it doesn't feel like a thousand years. The things he remembers are still fresh in his mind, like vivid pictures that were destroyed before he had the chance to enjoy them. The city he loved so much and knew so well is gone, reclaimed by the forest that had once been its salvation, and the ponies he grew up with are no more than a family name, if that. He is a stallion out of place in time, a pony from a different era struggling to grasp his place in this new world around him.

However, one night beneath the stars with Trixie opens up a door to a thousand years in the past, a window into the youth of a stallion who fell in love with a pony that he should not have... but now that Dark Star is freed from the bonds of his hatred, will those memories still have the same sweet taste that they did before? Or will the words of a childhood story bring a bitter clarity to the memories of the greatest of the Four Generals?

Nightmare Moon. Her name has survived for a thousand years on the tongues of scholars, historians and mares trying to get their foals into bed. It is a name that drove a primal fear into the hearts of ponies, a fear so dark that they would utter her name only as the vilest of curses for generations after they had forgotten who and what she truly was.

In modern day Equestria, the name Nightmare Moon has come to have a new meaning- one of redemption after mistakes, of forgiveness at the end of harsh trials. It is a lesson that will last another score of generations, but one group of ponies has not forgotten what truly made her name one to be feared: the Nightmare, the dark force that Princess Luna summoned to help her dethrone Celestia. It is said that the Nightmare still roams the darkness between ponies' dreams, waiting for a chance to be brought back into the physical world so that it may complete its final and most terrifying mission.

The Nightmare will answer the call of any pony brave or foolish enough to seek it... and where ponies seek to stir the Nightmare, the Coursairs will be there to stop them.

This story is a sequel to Where My Heart Lives

Rarity and Octavia have been dating for six months now, taking everything slow and steady just as Rarity promised that they would. Their love has done nothing but grow stronger and stronger, and now more than ever the two of them are certain that they truly do love one another. They're so certain, in fact, that Octavia has proposed taking the next step in their relationship: meeting one another's family and friends... and since most of Octavia's family lives very far away, Rarity's gets top billing.

This does, of course, raise a fair number of questions for Rarity. How will she introduce Octavia to her parents? Will they like her? Will Sweetie Belle like her? How in Equestria is she going to introduce the private and quiet musician to her gaggle of colorful, excitable and unique friends without scaring her off? Will Twilight Sparkle's new status as Princess be a little too intimidating? Will Fluttershy be able to handle the thought of Rarity and Octavia being 'romantic' together? Will Pinkie Pie behave herself even a little?

The more she thinks about it, the more upset her stomach gets... but she knows that it will be worth it in the end.

There are few things as complicated as love, and Rarity is no stranger to its twists and turns. It has been six months since she and Octavia admitted their feelings for one another and everything has been going well so far... so well that Rarity can't help but think that something terrible is going to happen.

And when Octavia receives grim news from Neighpon concerning her father, Rarity realizes that she was absolutely right.

Twilight Sparkle has been given many opportunities in her life. First she was Princess Celestia's prized student, then the Element of Magic, and most recently she was crowned a Princess of Equestria. Indeed, she has always been a very competent mare who has always been at the right place at the right time to do exactly what she needed to.

Many would chalk her success up to her extraordinary talents and uncanny brilliance, and they would be partially right. Twilight Sparkle's talent, drive and ability have allowed her to move upwards in her life to heights that she had only dreamed of reaching before, and truly no other mare could have done such a thing.

But anypony who thought that was the whole story would be sorely mistaken. Behind the new Princess is a family who loves her, a support group of friends and loved ones who are always there to hold her up if things get too tough... as well as a surprisingly large network of ponies who have placed all of their hopes onto the young alicorn's shoulders.

Because Twilight Sparkle's dream is not hers alone.

The year is 506 AC (After Chaos) and 310 years after the defeat of Nightmare Moon. The nation of Steelshod, nestled between peaceful Equestria to the southwest and the powerful kingdoms of Magia, Hoofswell and Cirrus to the northeast, has been a place of war and power for as long as anypony can remember. It is a land of shifting allegiances and violent combat, a nation where Warlords vie for power over ever-malleable holdings in order to impress their fickle leader. Duels to the death, cutthroat court intrigue and violent betrayals are almost commonplace in the lives of the ponies of Steelshod, and the ponies who live there are more than eager to continue its bloody traditions.

Amid the chaos and violence, a mare named Sabersong finds herself cast out of the service of her lord. Injured, lost and alone, she struggles to accept the fate that has been dealt to her; the fate of a wanderer, a warrior with no place to call her own in a world where a warrior's place in an army was everything.

Yet even as she despairs, her heart lost in the twisting paths of the forest of her life, fate is busily molding her into what she is meant to become: a mare who carves her own way in a nation of pre-set destinies, a unicorn who challenges the way things are done, and a pony who finally can answer the question that haunts her night and day:

'When does the lotus flower bloom?'
