Hello, all. It's certainly been a while, and I have only myself to blame for that. I sincerely apologize, both for my absence and all the unfulfilled and unfinished projects I never fully delivered to you all. Nothing can ever make up for that, but I hope that you all will be forgiving nevertheless.
Dear FIMfictioneers, as any of you who enjoyed Obsolescence know, I've all but given up on fan fiction. However, if I were to write a work of original fiction with the same themes and ideas as Obsolescence, would anyone be interested in reading it? If so, would you be interested enough to pay a small fee per chapter (keep in mind, any chapters would be 30+ pages, single-spaced, in length) that could be as low as a dollar? I am attempting to launch my own
I've come to the conclusion that what is perhaps the most vocal demographic of the fimfiction community is incredibly annoying and unhelpful. Some people will either like or dislike your ideas and say so. This is useful because it tells you something about your story, whether that's positive or negative. Even more useful is when people give an explanation as to why, such as stating their appreciation or dislike with the way a writer handles such elements as grammar, plot devices,

I know this is a little late as I'm sure many of you have alread heard of The Hearth's Warming Care Package, but just in case you haven't, I thought I would share PonIver's wonderful idea with you all.
