A quantum superposition of all pony generations with the Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy. If you are not familiar with that, this will not make much sense.

Town weather ponies are tired of receiving complaints, and frustrated by the lack of answers from higher up. Rumours circulate that a mysterious monster—a polar vortex—has seized control of the North and threatens Equestria. They get passed from office to office, as each branch of the Weather Factory denies responsibility, as they pursue their quest to understand the mechanisms controlling the Equestrian climate.

On hearing the story of the Mirror Pool, Starlight Glimmer questions what happened to all the Pinkie clones sent back to the pool and the ethics of apparently eliminating sentient beings. Further investigation shows that the pool has the magical means to accommodate an unlimited number of orphaned souls. This is put to the test by an infinite set of Pinkie Pies.
