Everypony who knows and puts up with Pinkie Pie and her antics is used to her spontaneous behavior, and her Pinkie Sense. Twilight herself had come to assume that was simply who the pink pony was. But one day, she discovers the true source of Pinkie's abilities. And unfortunately for her, a secret like this can only be revealed in one way... death.

Inspired by the Death Hole glitch in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, and all of the crazy things you can do there.

Equestria has been completely wiped off of the map, along with everypony in it.
Except one.
Ventus, in a final effort to save everypony, learns time magic from his half-brother, Midnight Sky. He travels back in time almost 8000 years to stop his evil ancestor Gale from terrorizing Unicornia. But little does he know that he and Midnight Sky could never have prepared for what they find hidden within the folds of history...

Twilight has been assigned by Princess Celestia to study Dark Magic, something that has almost virtually died out. One day, halfway through her assignment, she receives a surprise visit from the Princess herself, who gives warning that dark and trying times are coming, and returns home. A confused Twilight then begins searching for large problems, both inside Equestria and out. When she discovers a major threat that nopony is prepared for, things quickly go downhill. Equestria seems doomed to total destruction, until a hooded pony appears with an offer. An offer that could either save them from catastrophe, or make things much, much worse...

Story is canon until Twilight becomes an Alicorn.
