This story is a sequel to The Drowned Princess

There are two parallel worlds, pony and human, that follow one another almost perfectly. Yet one major difference has confounded the human versions of the mane 6: Sunset Shimmer, the pony, has no human equivalent. Without much to go on, they've simply led their lives as normal, waiting for the opportunity to find her, if she even exists at all.

Then one day, Rarity finds her working at a cafe.

And Rainbow Dash finds her at an interleague soccer game.

And Twilight, Pinkie, Applejack, and Fluttershy find her as well.

It doesn't make any sense... it must be impossible. There must be only one human version of Sunset Shimmer. The truth about her existence is somewhere in the minds of these six identical copies... and the truth of the false versions will bring revelations all their own.

Pinkie is the queen of cheer--most of the time, anyway. But when her mood suddenly turns for the worse, can Sunset help Pinkie regain her lost joy?

A short fic whose concept was shamelessly stolen from Feather Note. (I asked for their blessing before I published this. )

Sunset and the rest of the EqG girls go to an exhibit on an ancient culture. But one artifact in particular draws Sunset's attention.

This is an imagined history of Equestria-- or perhaps it's more like a creation myth. The distinction is fuzzy when your ruler is a god-empress. Call it what you like, this story considers what the world would have been like before unicorns moved the sun and moon. It's about the existence of Celestia, her relationship to Luna, and the beginning of their rule. It's also about getting close to others, and overcoming our deepest natures. Hope you enjoy.

All Twilight wants is for her charge, Princess Rarity, to be happy. But after a disastrous attempt at dressmaking, it'll take a lot more than a few kind words to cheer Rarity up.

Applejack has always been the most grounded of the main cast, the most content. But that doesn't mean it's a happy contentment, or one Applejack would willingly choose to maintain.

Twilight has gone through the kitchen door of her family home in Canterlot hundreds of times. Next to that door is the family tree, which Twilight rarely took notice of. But when she looks at Applejack's family tree, she recognizes the phrase beneath the dead ponies' names and realizes an anomaly that she had forgotten for a very long time. There's a third name on her family tree, and it bears that phrase.

Written for BaeroRemedy's "I'll Never Forget You" contest, and inspired by a similar experience regarding my own family tree and one of my aunts. Rest in peace, Jean Marie.

The war between pegasi and earth ponies has raged for eight long years. Five years ago, the pegasi invented a powerful tactic which changed the course of warfare forever--they learned how to manipulate the weather. With the power of nature against them, the earth ponies seemed doomed to fail. That is, until a pegasus meteorology agent is captured on a routine mission. Rather than kill her, one earth pony captain comes up with a novel idea all his own--convert her into a double agent. Perhaps the war can yet be won.

This takes place several years before the foundation of Equestria.

These are a series of short little concepts I wrote about the mane 6 on my blog. They're not really... "stories," since they don't have plots, so I called them "meditations." Twilight, believing something has happened to her memory, seeks out Princess Celestia to see if she recognizes it and can offer a cure. But the answer lies far deeper in the root of her nature and her life as the Princess of Friendship than she would have ever expected.
