This story is a sequel to A Day in the Life of Numidium Forge

Young Numidium Forge, a 'baby' dragon with a dark past, is starting a happy new life in the crystal Empire. but with war on the horizon and the mysterious Kaiju running amok, is this new life truly safe? Or will the young dragoness be forced to join in a life her fathers wanted to leave behind?

Numidium Forge has a small, strange family. her father is a Unicorn and retired army engineer for Equestria's royal guard, known for his crazy, over the top and hard to replicate machines. Her uncle is her father's former arch-nemesis, an elite soldier of the Griffinstone defense force. Together the duo of old soldiers have tried, and mostly succeeded in overcomign their PTSD, their differences, and their dark pasts to care for young Numi, a rarely seen Orichalcum dragoness, taken in and cared for by clockwork after he retired.

Now, however, their rough life comes to a new turn as they bid Ponyville's edge farewell for a new, better life in The Crystal Empire!

Now if only this 'Vanilla' guy would stop haunting her uncle's nightmares...

Heyo, it's been a holy crap long time since I posted anything, but thanks to Drifter of the Amalgamverse, creator of Gabriel the Griffin, not only do we have a new story, a taste for the future, but heck, we even have a little something for our fellow Amalgamverse authors! Let's rock and roll!
