Soapbox D. Spark

In Ponyville resides a little donkey. Born into a pony family, Soapbox struggles on a day-to-day basis. Like all, he wonders about his own life purpose. One fateful encounter has given him a powerful gift that will lead him towards a life changing decision, and perhaps most of all, a way to help the little donkey overcome the thing that plagues him.

A momentous battle ensued where King Sombra, resurrected by the Alicorn Amulet, sought one thing. He sought the power of the Windigos. The unicorn stallion's evil plot came undone by the power of three fillies and the unlikely purging of an evil that plagued a princess. Freed from the curse of Queen Chrysalis, Princess Star struggles to undo the damage done by her selfish wish, and understand more about a daughter she had thought lost to her.

On Hearth's Warming Eve, Princess Star will gain something much greater than anything she could wish for with her power, the help of an old friend being just the necessary step in the right direction too.

A/N: This is a quick Xmas/Christmas/Holiday fic. I wanted to write something, but got sidetracked with me relaxing for a bit. I hope everyone is having a decent holiday. As far as Princess Star goes, she's an OC character from my Resurgence story. As always, feedback is appreciated.

All have a chosen path to walk in their lives. These paths may be walked alone, yet some are shared in the company of others. Three little ponies shared their experiences together and forged a powerful bond. It is through this gift that they are now granted something special, yet these three will be tested. In the snowy mountains, a forgotten foe has slumbered. Now he is awakened by one who desires retribution on Equestria and its rulers. With a new found source of power, this foe will ravage Equestria and bring it to its knees.

A/N: This story was written for the National Novel Writing Month, however, Resurgence also represents the conclusion of an idea that started with the first EQD writing prompt. With this story comes the end of my Equestria's Tales stories I had been working on. Things grew quite intense with the necessity to deal with real life circumstances. Anyways, I hope the story is enjoyable, and it isn't too horrible to read. As always, feedback is appreciated so I can learn how to better myself as a writer.

A stallion walks down a lone street with a piece of paper blowing into his face. Perhaps it's fate, dumb luck, or just a random circumstance, but the flyer lists a writer's guild being formed in Ponyville. Grammatical Error, as he calls himself, decides to take a shot in the dark about getting his story off the ground.

Final Story: Resurgence

Past Story: With Nightmare Night coming to a close, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo settle in for a sleep over at the Sweet Apple Acres farm with their fellow Cutie Mark Crusaders. The three decide that one thing is missing however. A little extra "something" to bring an end to their night of treats and frights.

A/N: This is made for the EQD writer's training grounds. After participating in the last one, I feel it wiser to not make ten to fourteen plus individual stories, which can clog up my story count level.

Stories will be marked in parenthesis with the appropriate style of (Slice, Dark,) and the like. I will also update the characters selection for the newest/most relative story.

The day seemed so ordinary. The rooster crowed, Apple Bloom got up, and she had her breakfast. Today would be the day she and her fellow Cutie Mark Crusaders earned their cutie marks. This wouldn't come to pass. Instead, today would be the day she learned about a long kept secret even her big sister didn't know about.

Summer has come into full swing for Equestria. In Ponyville, Ms. Cheerilee's classes are out for their break. Soapbox, a young donkey in one of her classes, feels content with staying inside. His mother has other ideas, and so does a certain shapeshifting, all powerful God of Chaos.

There are scientific facts that are proven time and again through simple observation. Gravity. The earth's orbit and rotation. Water freezes when it gets cold. Science fails in the face of magic. Somehow, a pony ends up in my closet. Now I have to deal with two things, finding a job and keeping this pony out of trouble.

"Cutie Mark Crusaders Forever"

Apple Bloom, Scootaloo, and Sweetie Belle. These three fillies have stuck together through thick and thin. Loyalty has been tested. Their bonds have been stressed, yet they have succeeded in their endeavors, together as friends.

On the horizon looms a great test for one of the crusaders as Sweetie Belle discovers the talents of one friend and the secrets of another. She will embark on her own journey. Through it, she will find her latent abilities. In her pursuit however, she may doom Equestria to an evil hoped long forgotten, not banished by Princess Luna or Princess Celestia.

Author's Note(s): This is the third piece in a long arc that involves the Cutie Mark Crusaders discovering their special abilities. In regards to My Melody, it was written for the National Writing Month exercises. It consists of several chapters with a final epilogue story.

Though it isn't required since details are given in this story, it is recommended to read or skim over An Apple's Journey, An Apple's Gift, and A Joke Too Far to get a full grasp/understanding of the ideas behind Apple Bloom and Scootaloo's "talents."

The Cutie Mark Crusaders have dealt with their fair share of pranks, both giving and receiving. It's fun to dish out the pranks and receiving them can be taken in stride. There are times when pranks can go too far on the receiving end however.
