Vacation time is like rock candy. It's sweet to savor, and it can disappear all too quickly for some. Maud's vacation has come to an end. She takes a leisurely train ride back to her job.

The day has come for Apple Bloom to make her first pie delivery on her own. That moment should be a special occasion, but it isn't. With all her heart, she wants it to be a nightmare to wake up from.

It's hard for an individual to acclimate to new surroundings after being locked away for so long. Princess Luna has some time to herself and she needs to re-learn how things work in the new modern era of Equestria. Where should the guardian of all the night touches and the protector of dreams begin? Perhaps a bit of breakfast is just the best place to start.

A/N: I will be marking this as completed. With that said however, I may update it with more stories down the road. It will be used as a bit of release for comical/half-baked ideas for a Princess who has been gone for some time. To overstate the obvious, this whole concept takes place during the second season, and it occurs right after Nightmare Night.

Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, Fluttershy, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie came within a few wing beats of their goal to exit the breezie homeworld. With the portal shut, they have to find a new way home. It won't be as easy as the breezie flies.

Each morning is rather typical. Princess Luna lowers the moon and Princess Celestia takes over to raise the sun. Today would be no different if it weren't for a problem with the "other royal throne" that Princess Celestia uses. A letter about a certain group of fillies and progress in their talents gives the regal mare an idea on how to remedy her problem.

A/N (4/21/14): Downloaded the story and updated the grammar quirks. Removed several unneeded names for Celestia, altered the text to streamline it a bit, and took out some parts that felt redundant. If there are any other grammar quirks, feel free to drop a comment. The only way one can learn is if they are told and showed where they failed.
