After the most bizzare week of her life, Starburst, the daughter of Princess Twilight Sparkle, finds herself in a relationship with Starfall. Despite their personalities being opposite of one another, she agreed to go on a date with the unicorn, and fell asleep next to him feeling happy and safe.

But will this relationship survive the test of time? Between Starfall's not so great beginnings in Ponyville, his tragic past, Starburst's family's attitude, and, worst of all, her friends' merciless jokes, does it even stand a chance?

Starburst, the daughter of Princess Twilight Sparkle and Prince Flash Sentry, has about all she could ask from life: loving parents, her Little Brother Best Friend Forever, and despite her seriousness and disciplined mentality, she has group of friends close as family. She also has an ambitious goal in life: she wants to be the first mare ever to become the Captain of the Royal Guard, which she's been preparing herself for since she was a little filly.

So... what would happen if she were to meet a pony that is an exact opposite of her?

Ponies always wondered - how the adventures of Daring Do started? How did she become the mare she is now? What was the first treasure she found? How did she become so good in what she does? The answers to those questions would make an excellent story, which every fan of Daring Do would love to hear.

Or would they? There's a reason why she never mentioned that story...

He guarded this city almost all of his life, which ended the same way his father's did - by sacrificing himself to protect everyone. Having said farewell to his beloved sister, he was about to move on, but not before splitting a fragment of his soul, creating another Soul Dew in the place of his father's destroyed one, so that part of him could continue to protect what mattered to him most: his sister, and the city. What he didn't know, however, was that this process could lead to... unexpected results.

All his life he wanted one thing: to be with the woman he loved. But the cruel reality had taken her from him, so he wanted to change this reality. He wanted to crush it, and replace it with a dream, where everything would be perfect. At least, he thought so, for in the most important hour, where he's goal neared, he failed, and another showed him what him another way... but that way had also been taken from him.
Now he finds himself in another world, the reminders of his failures everywhere on his new, altered body, especially his rump. Will he find what he's really been searching for?
