If you ever asked me what I was like, I'd tell you that I'm just another simple guy trying to make ends meet. A guy who worked for his home and his meals, and always enjoyed spending time with close friends. Life couldn't be more normal for me at the time.

Then again, life always seems like it's going to be normal before fate throws a handful of cartoon horses into the mix.

Darkness. Shadows. Vanishings. Equestria has fallen victim to all of these; an unknown evil, taking every single life it encounters. The only chance of survival lies within the light. The remaining residents of this once-peaceful land must work together to try and stop the unrelenting force that puts their very existence in jeopardy.

Live in the light, or lose yourself in the dark.

My second grimdark story. A crossover between MLP: FiM and Vanishing on 7th Street.

Haven't seen one of these yet, so I figured I'd take the liberty to be the first to write it. Not the best story out there, but I'm proud of it so far. I think it shows some promise. Who knows? This one might turn out pretty nice.

Please critique honestly and accordingly, if you wish. I'm always open to suggestion and recommendation.

A journal recovered from the body of Onyx Glare. Inside the journal are first-hoof accounts of a tragedy that had overcome the once-peaceful home of Ponyville. A wave of insanity has been unleashed upon Equestria, withering the minds of it's inhabitants. Slowly, everything Onyx knows and loves collapses in a matter of days. Time is gone, decay grows on.

Before reading, note that there are reasonable amounts of blood and gore throughout the story. The reason that the chapters are so short is because I wanted to preserve the "first-person" feel of a journal.

I've honestly never written something this dark, but I definitely like this one for some reason. It feels good to write about bad.

"Newbreed follows the life of Marcus Prescott. Marcus is a normal 17-year-old male human, who has lost his motivation for living his routine days on Earth. After so many days turning out the same way over and over, Marcus lifelessly drags on, hoping for something new to occur. After returning home, Marcus awakes in the middle of the night, only to be transported to the world of Equestria through a mysterious gateway. After meeting a few of it's many inhabitants, Marcus' role in this new world is only just unfolding..."

My first attempt at a fanfiction. Spawned from my interest in MLP:FiM, and my curiosity of two worlds colliding.

The chapters are fairly short, as I'm trying to keep this story as simple (yet detailed) as I can. More chapters will be added as I find time to create them.
