In one word: Firefly. The objective of this coming month is to finish off the Battle of Epsilon and the first day of war. But I haven't stopped thinking about Nightmare Night, or other things I might be writing, including my anthro novel. I've also had a few other idea bunnies running around my head, but I'd think long and hard before starting them given my other obligations.

After struggling to write a few hundred words a day, the dam broke once I figured out the flow of battle and I wrote the final 3000 words in the last day. Part 13 has reached 9373 words as of this writing, and the first prereader to get his hooves on the full chapter loves it. Chapter will release on Sunday morning or sooner if all prereads are received in time.

But regardless of whether I get it, Nightmare Night - Part 15 launches tonight at 8pm Eastern, as promised. It’s 5500 words long, has two major story twists, and details the emergence of the first true threat to Eclipse’s plans--Sorry, Starlight, but you really aren’t one at this point!

It currently stands at 8500 words and will likely be over 10k when all is said and done. For that reason, I’m considering splitting it into two parts to give the climactic third section its own chapter and focus, same as I did for the Blossomforth/Cloud Kicker scene. We’ll see what my prereaders say on that score. If so, I’d simply release the two halves a couple days apart, and don’t worry; the second section has some sexytimes of its own!
