Twenty years ago, my life was normal. At least by my standards, life was normal. Everything changed when the incident happened. Ponies changed on that day. A lot of them changed... how do I even describe it? Ponies, on that day, just started... eating each other. I don't know why this cannibalism started but because of that day, I lost my home, my friends, and my family. My life turned upside down. This is the story of how my life changed. This is the story story of how the last of us survived.

It's been a year since Princess Luna's return and the Summer Sun Celebration is back again. Princess Celestia has decided to not only to commence the ceremony of the longest day of the year but to also include a tradition to allow Luna to rest for a full day. Her organizer for the event, though, has retired which leaves Princess Celestia without a task master. Twilight, her most faithful student, is a candidate for a task master and thrusts the role to her as a sign of trust.

As Twilight organizes the event, Derpy Hooves delivers a certain package for the event which makes her a very special pony.

Silvershot, after saving Equestria from a menacing force called the Vanguard Knights, couldn't ask for anything else in the world. He had a loving wife, his mother, and his friends in his new home in Ponyville. Evil was stricken from the land and peace came over Equestria.

At least, that's what he thought.

Even though peace has been established all over Equestria, there is a greater evil being formed and his peaceful world crumbled in his hooves. Silvershot would need all his strength to combat this problem to save his home, his family, his friends, and Equestria. His memories before helped him save Equestria the first time, but would he need them again? And what if he needed to delve deeper than his memories? Would the memories of somepony else guide him through this journey for the cure of the mysterious virus?

Twilight does her annual Library Organization Day in her library and fnds a pecular leather-back book. There was no title on the cover but inscribed on the spine in golden letters was "The Journal of Kindra Skywing". Twilight opens the book and reads about the life of Kindra Skywing.

A/N: Even though this is completely off topic, this story is related to the To Save Equestria: The Mysterious Virus but not directly. Still, I hope you enjoy!

Twilight loves playing chess, a new game that is rising popularity in Equestria. After playing several times with other ponies and Spike, she is confident in her ability as a chess player to play in the tournament in Canterlot after Rarity suggests it to her.

Before Twilight even embarks on this adventure, she says in her mind... Chess is only a game and it should never be taken literally.

Well, what would happen if she changes her mind after some "persuasion" from the game?

Silvershot, a pony who suffers from amnesia, searches for a way to recover his memories. His past is a mystery and him even "just appearing" in the Everfree Forest is a mystery.

Helps comes in unexpected ways and he finds himself in Ponyville in hopes some pony will help him. His memories come back to him with the help of a special unicorn. As he continues his journey to find his lost memories, he soon discovers that his own memories could save Equestria from certain doom. Catastrophic events befall Silvershot as he remembers more and more and he utterly learns the truth of his past.
