Originally this was going to be part of my story, 'Travellers', but I won't be working on it. The idea was to keep the story as close to canon as possible. Twilight becoming a princess rendered the entire story moot. Sure, I could set the date of the story before the end of season three but that defeats the purpose. And why does every X-in-Equestrian story have the character land in Ponyville. Just once I'd like X to be found by changelings or griffins. Have X's views be radically skewed by the other sapient population to the point where the Princesses are perceived as a very real threat.

Most stories, logically, start at the beginning. There are a few that start at some climax, or halfway point, then work their way, again, from the beginning. There's nothing I'd like more than to do that, to start telling my story using logical, time related narratives. The only problem with that is that I don't remember.

Saying Princess Celestia's bed looked comfortable would be like saying the Hope Diamond was an interesting rock, or the Mona Lisa was a neat looking carpet stain. Overly opulent was a hardly fitting description of what was to be described as the Royal bed.

Twilight's uncle, "strange uncle" Daybreak, shows up in Ponyville. then everything goes sideways.
