After a terrible accident lands you with some severe injuries, you're forced to spend several excruciating months in the Ponyville hospital. Needless to say, you're not particularly happy about this.

Twilight Sparkle discovers something in the Everfree Forest. Something that nopony had seen for hundreds of years. A Stargate. A wormhole linking Equus to the rest of the Pegasus Galaxy, not to mention to the home planet of the bipedal race that used to be Equestria's biggest ally before the Equestrian government, headed by Princess Celestia herself, decided that it was time to shut it down for good.

But will that race still be there after all this time? Only one way to find out.

Dear Princess Celestia,

I haven't written you in such a long time. I suppose that since I've lived in the castle as of late, I have found it unnecessary. I wish to tell you this is person, I really do, but I feel I cannot stay here any longer. Spike and I are leaving to the countries south of Equestria. Perhaps we will be able to bring peace and harmony to the ponies there. This will be my last letter to you, my mentor, but I have so much to say. I don't even know where to begin. I suppose it started after my coronation, so maybe I should tell you that first...

Twilight prepared for her spell. Hopefully the next universe would be more pleasant and would not contain Timberwolves ruling Equestria. The spell was cast, and she found herself some where very dark. Where was she?

I'm sorry, Princess Celestia. I have failed you as a student, and I have failed you as a friend.

This is the story of how a rather unpopular human girl gets her life turned upside down, taking her whole home town, as well as a few of its neighbors, along for the positively impossible ride. Dreams really do come true, sometimes, don't they? They just don't always turn out the way we expected.
Criticism is appreciated, as long as its not just because you don't like the concept of my story. If you don't like the idea, that's your problem, not mine. I realize that there are a lot of people who don't like this sort of thing. And don't just down vote it because of the concept either.
I just want to say, that this whole story might suck. If so, I apologize. I also apologize for the fact that I am only allowed to select five boxes for the characters.
Oh, and a last note. I don't consider pony swearing bad, so if you do, you've been warned.

One night, while the Elements of Harmony are feeling a bit...discorded, the evil embodiment of chaos himself finds a gap in the elements' power just large enough for him to send in his best plan against Equestria ever. Six new ponies, armed with 6 new elements are out to get the Elements of Harmony. Can Twilight, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and Fluttershy stop these ponies? Or will they overthrow the balance of harmony in Equestria and free Discord from his stony prison?

This is my second fic, so constructive criticism is welcome.
