There was never just one book.
Coming soon, this Halloween.
Somedays, I sit, looking at the stars. I muse and wonder. I meditate and reflect. And I find the miracle in a new day of life. Especially since I swallowed so much glass the day before.
There was never just one book.
Coming soon, this Halloween.
EDIT:
Well, it's done. 7 or so hours of STRAIGHT writing, no editing because it's 5 am and I'm dead tired, with only 7 hours left on the clock which I'm going to use to sleep forever. I'm at that weird stage of sleepiness where I don't know exactly if what I wrote was good or not, but I'm going to leave it up to fate.
Have fun you guys.
ORIGINAL POST AS BELOW:
So, it kinda happened like this:
So, I'm prepping and transferring over a very, very old story.
The very FIRST story I've ever written, in fact. And no, it's not here. It's on EQD.
I'd always had trouble pushing it to FimFic because of some limitations in the past. The thing works a little better now, so I guess it's time to finally post it to FimFic.
It honestly feels weird to finally put the last touches on it and hit that submit button.
Not to mention the fact that I now get to set it to this:
When I first started on this project all those years ago, I was genuinely excited. There was an idea I had to really take the ideas and tenets of the show and make it something a little bit more mature. Make the echoes and reflections of what make MLP:FIM good and kinda shake it up a little.
So, I think some of you guys also know I do music. Maybe.
I used to do a lot of joke and dumb silly covers and stuff.
Anyway, I got a new PreSonus audio box, which is a nice little mixer for guitar and decided to take it for a spin, cuz I can get a lot crisper and clearer guitar recordings now.
I covered Sunflower from the Spandex-man Into the Spoger-vase soundtrack.
Tell me what you think!
Does anyone remember a little story I once started a long time ago called Dust and Harmony?
It was a retelling of the Mare in the Moon mythos through the eyes of a worldy cowboy sheriff named Twilight, focusing on creative reinterpretations of characters and worldbuilding.
Okay, time to stop the jokes, at least for a while.
The point is, I know I've been gone for a long time. A LONG time. I genuinely don't know what provoked me to 'come back' as it were, and I know I've left a lot of people behind and I can't expect everyone to really rush back and remember who I am.
There is a rather famous thought experiment that goes like this:
Imagine there is a cat. Be it a tabby, or perhaps a stripey one with seven claws and a bad eye due to an unfortunate fishing incident, or perhaps a large floofy fluffy one that has too much fur for its own good; it does not matter because it may very well be dead by the end of this sordid test.
Oh well! I'll just go next year.
Can't wait to see you all!
