Has it really been less than four months since I got a bunch of jobs and moved into a new house? Man it feels like eternity. I have been nothing but busy ever since that last post, and admittedly unable to do jack on the story I said I was working on.

I did do a bit a while ago, but looking back it's kinda terrible. I think it is headed to the scrap yard, since reworking it in it's current state would be almost unmanageable.

I have been a little stressed the last few weeks. My girlfriend and I have been talking about getting a place together (a house owned by my aunt we will get at a tremendous discount) and have been trying to find her a job. She finally got a call back and was hired at Walmart (at an amazing 9.35/hr starting pay). Well it was my turn to pick up the slack, since my 80 a week wasn't going to cut it.

OK everybody, I finished up my new fic, Time Dash, a few hours ago, and will soon begin running it through a series of editors to make sure that the grammar doesn't suck. (See The ESP for an example of my work unedited)

This work is pretty awesome (If I do say so myself). It clocks it at nearly 14K words, with six chapters and an epilogue. You'll laugh, you'll cry, and you'll be all like 'Wait what?'

Anywho, I GOT A FREAKING GREAT JOB.

After a month or so of searching, I got a contract job at the local computer repair shop.

Got paid $70 on my first day. I love the work, its everything I already do with computers, but with pay. I love my boss. (They have game nights every other Friday)

For now its a two days a week thing, but my boss has promised that after a few weeks I will begin to get 5 days a week.

I have been having a heck of a week guys. I'll spare you all the minor details and just cut to the big one:

I had the remainder of my Pell Grant money turn up missing ($1800). I have no proof it was stolen but I have my suspicions. I have filed a police report and have already contacted my insurance who hopefully can refund, at least in part, the money that is missing.
