Some time has passed since Applejack and Fluttershy freed the kirins from the Stream of Silence. Since that day the kirin named Spring Frost wanted to leave the kirin village and started a new home in a pony town. Very eager he moves to Maren, a small pony village, to work, live, experience a new culture and to make new friends with these creatures of harmony and friendship.

Unluckily for Spring Frost, it falls depressingly hard to make friends in Maren. And depression can be a big problem when having a nirik side.

As a pony whose bakery compared to others has less fame, less recognition and even less passers-by who visit, this baker strives to make the most of it whilst making important reflections on what makes a bakery famous, what the customers want and what he wants to achieve as a baker himself. Only within those ponderings may he find solitude and growth, establishing new connections with a renewed appreciation for the help, support and views of his customers.
