    Battle Saddles

Everyone knows about mouth guns being dumb, but personally I consider them to be in the realm of "it's obviously ridiculous, so it's a quirk of the world."
I wanna quick talk about battle saddles though, because that's one of those things where it does need to make a little bit of sense because it's not cartoon logic/physics, it's a matter of practical technology. A lot of battle saddle depictions have them along the pony's sides, like the shafts of a cart.

    The editing process.

The editing process is: reading out loud, realizing it sounds like shit when it's outside your head, and making changes.
I think now that I've written six chapters I have a grasp on what's happening, so I'm gonna go back and try to make my story less fucky to behold. 1 and 2 are significantly better I think, but idk yet. I'll wait and see.
    That's all.

Yeah... I did get unbanned though! And I leaned my lesson (again) to not try and be funny when people cannot hear the tone in my head that would convey my attempted humor.

If you care for my serious analysis and philosophizing: I really hate Reddit, and most social media. I find that people are horrendously judgmental. The internet hardly shows you the reality and nuance of a person and their life, and there aren't any consequences for abusing them. And it connects you with other pricks as well to create echo chambers of equally shittish jerks. People will look at one minor snapshot of a person and build this false, biased assumption of what that person is like and absolutely savage it, without any notion of just how incorrect and downright cruel they are. I am absolutely guilty of this and I think these days most people are. At least I know that so I can try and stop myself from making those mistakes again.

And I take solace in that I also know what an utter clown I am too, hence I advertise the fact. I don't take it that seriously anymore. I'm willing to make an ass of myself because it amuses me and I can take inspiration from the absurdity. I know who I am and so do the people whose opinions actually matter to me, and I'm content with that. If the people on reddit want to believe I'm a dog eating freak, then that's what I am to them. I don't actually eat dogs, in fact, back in high school I used to volunteer to transport rescue dogs for a group that got them away from kill shelters like Miami Dade. I love dogs. Once you stop caring what complete strangers on the internet think of you, and care more about how you think of yourself, life is much more peaceful, and carefree, and amusing. So yes, I'm proud to have made a fool of myself on reddit, and of getting banned for it, because I think it's funny, even if I'm the only one who does.

So what you’re saying is, that actually happened to you?

I didn't put /sarcasm, and they thought I was serious or something. Of all the reasons to get banned I think that's a pretty funny one.

Why are you proud of that?
