Yeah, Tail of Two Ponies is nice, friends with the author too. Poor girl is so anxious about their story, but it's getting better.
As for what it's like? Surely you know by now. But you get a preview of the story, you read it through a few times, note the errors, make suggestions for consistency based on established material, get sad that their other editor fixed the errors your noticed on your second pass through. The works.
Dunno what else to say about it, it's not too different than being an editor-in-post like for Quiet Rune Scribe or Dawn of a New Day.
