A story taking place in the past (mostly), during the time when Velvet is but a young foal, and her father Stronghoof runs about trying to keep her in check!

When Velvet gets her eyes on a certain necklace, she ends up causing quite a bit of grief for poor Stronghoof in the process.

But thankfully, this story has a happy ending~

After numerous failed attempts to follow even the simplest of tasks, Opaline sends Misty out for one last mission, if she is to return unsuccessful then chances of getting her cutie mark will be forfeit, and she will be banished from the castle. Her mission is to extract information from Sheriff Hitch, or steal Sparky Sparkeroni, and if she is to fail then she'll have hell to pay.

Hitch Trailblazer, a strong figure in the town of Maretime Bay. He's arguably one of the biggest figures there and an instrumental part in keeping the balance! He's admired and he does quite a good job at his duties. But when a certain stallion catches a cold, a few ponies are gonna have to step up in order to make up for Hitch being out of the picture! A heatwave hits Maretime Bay right in the middle of Summer! Sunny, Zipp and Pipp are all off in Zephyr Heights for the day attending some other business, leaving Izzy and Hitch to themselves on the hottest day of the year. Hitch decides to make his way to the Brighthouse with Sparky in tow, hoping to distract himself from this hellishly hot day.

This is a series of MLP G5 One shots I've thought up that are too short of an idea to make into it's own fully fledged story. There is no flat out plot when it comes to these one shots, as they can be drastically different from each story. However for simplicity's sake I'll tag with Slice of Life, Comedy and Romance as a general gist of what most of my content is derived into, as well as marking these fics as Teen.
