Well, all the fans' dumbest theories are now canon. The show is over. Goodbye everybody. Seriously though, I cringed all the way through this episode. Fanon is perfectly good as fanon, but it doesn't mesh with canon at all. "Steven Magnet"? "The Doctor"? Please, this is My Little Pony, not Crossover Central.

Frankly--after reading so many fan stories about exciting epic escapades, fan stories written so professionally that I'd have paid to read them, fanfics which address the show's inconsistencies and illogic, and fanfics full of mesmerizing mystery and amazing mystical wonders, and fanfics which make the horse universe and its inhabitants seem so alive, and seeing fanart drawn in so many styles by a multitude of masters of the tablet...
