While working to clear molehills from a field at Sweet Apple Acres, a discussion with Geo leads John to question his own mortality, and what will happen when the Reaper finally comes to claim him.

The answer will turn out to be the best thing he's ever heard.

Based on some thoughts I had while helping my auntie with something. Told in first person from John's point of view.

Scootaloo is a changeling separated from the Hive. She's always been one, and nopony suspected a thing. After a hard day of Crusading she goes for her secret cider stash, but has a few too many and is promptly discovered.

Brought before Princess Twilight Sparkle the changeling tells her story, and shares her fears that Chrysalis may send her minions to drag her back. Twilight offers Scootaloo a chance to start a new life. But she has to sacrifice her old one first, which means saying goodbye to two of her closest friends...

AUTHOR'S NOTES

A lot of the fics I've seen in the featured box lately have involved Changelings, cider, Princess Twilight or Scootaloo. Oh, and Pokémon. So I decided to write a story which used all of them.

After ending up in Equestria, DJ Anonymous finds himself becoming friends with his Equestrian counterpart, the one and only Vinyl Scratch. After demonstrating human music, Anon is signed up to a label by the producer Tech Beat. He soon finds fame and fortune, and Vinyl is always by his side.

But when an incident at a gig leads to Vinyl making a startling revelation, Anon starts to struggle with his own feelings. And it'll take a little bit of divine intervention, as well as a ton of other advice, to make him realise what he really wants. It's just a shame Fate has other plans for him.

Oh look, Geo is jumping on the AiE bandwagon!

I've always wanted to do an AiE, but I never really had a good idea. To Friend Is Human started out as an AiE, but I decided it would be better as a self-insert prose story. This idea came to me while I was listening to music and browsing the AiE threads on /mlp/. I figured that it would make a good story, so I wrote it.

Rated Teen for language and eventual sexual themes and violence.

This story is a sequel to The Scotsman And The Fashionista 1

Jock Wallace's article about his experience at the Carousel Boutique has been seen by a lot of people (and ponies). Chief among them is the mare about whom the article is written. So she decides to confront him about it, as well as demand that he take back what he wrote.

When he refuses, Rarity decides to try a different approach. But will it work, or will the human remain steadfast in his endeavours to ruin the fashionista's reputation?

This is (obviously) a sequel to The Scotsman And The Fashionista, so I suggest you read that first.

Once again, there are Scottish words in this fic. And once again, there is an English translation (f'r those o' ye who cannae be bothered tae unnerstaun' whit it is ye're readin').

When Spike confesses his love for Rainbow Dash, he is thrilled when she admits that she cares for him too. Together at last, Spike goes out of his way to be the best drakefriend he could ever hope to be.

But will Dash see it that way?

The Alternate Universe tag is there for obvious reasons. This story is loosely based on the story of what happened when I got my first girlfriend. Spike is me, and Dash is... let's just call her 'K'. I've always wanted to write a fanfic based on my real-life experiences, as well as try my hand at a SpikeDash, so this seemed like the best way to combine the two.

When Rarity meets a human who speaks with an accent she's never heard before, she tries hard not to let it interfere with her professional demeanour. But that professionalism is thrown out the window when he makes what he thinks is an innocent joke...

AUTHOR'S NOTES: This was just a little idea I had. We've all seen how Rarity can be in an argument. But how will she fare against a human who speaks with a heavy Scots accent? Comments contain spoilers.

One morning, Geo wakes up next to Applejack, John wakes up next to Pinkie, and Ace wakes up next to Twilight. Each mare is adamant she is that man's wife. Only the three of them think otherwise.

When John comes up with a possible solution to their predicament, it results in violence... which in turn leads to the truth behind the whole sorry mess.

A truth none of them are prepared for.
