I haven't been doing any pony writing for a while. Heck I'm 8 chapters behind on my reading here too!
All of my energy has been wrapped up in finishing a project several years in the making.

Today was my birthday.
It has been a good day. I actually finished almost everything I set out to do.
The largest of which is finish "The Twilight Years."
Now that it is done and I don't have anything new brewing I will work on getting my non-pony vampire novel submitted to publishers.

I also submitted "The Truth" to EQD. I hope it at least gets read since "the Twilight Years didn't even manage to make it to the pre-readers and was rejected by the automated system.

Feeling like I've gotten a little obsessed with how my stories are being received. I've been writing for a while on a non-pony Vampire novel, but it's been limited to family reading it while I work out the rough spots.
For the first time my writing is out there for public consumption and I fear if it isn't well received that it says something about my other projects.

Well I am home from my reenactment "vacation." It was exhausting. I got sick from bad water mid-week and was injured Friday. Rethinking the armored combat thing. Starting to see why it went out of favor.....
Then apparently brought home a bug too.
But I'm home, healing, and doing better.
Hopefully the pony muse will be ready to go soon!

Ok, I've never done one of these before so let's see how this works.

I've added a second story with a different take on the world of Equestria and Celestia's role in it called "The Truth."
For those that have read it: I'm considering writing a parallel story covering Luna's place in the scheme of things. I'm just not sure if it's needed or a good idea yet.
