Author's Note: This is not a 1984 crossover, but is meant to be an allusion to the work. So there's no Big Brother or anything, merely a name and element reference. Inspired by the "Save Derpy" media, this is an experimental story about what it'd be like if such an attempt at censoring her occurred in-verse. Rest assured, this is not a Derpy-bashing narrative.

Derpy Hooves has been taken into custody and made an unwilling Patient within The Equestrian Ministry of Love where she is taken for "care". There, she meets Time Turner who promises to provide her help within the facility. She also works to uncover more about Hoofler's associates and their treatments while looking for a way to counteract the spell used to disable her wings. With Time Turner and other allies on the inside, she will soon make her escape.

I'm sorry. For right now, this fic is on hiatus due to complications with the plot and heavy writer's block on this particular tale. I seriously do not want it to die but I am getting nowhere with it. So nothing until further notice...hopefully.

Based off an odd storystorming session of mine, Trixie finds herself on the difficult path in the rain when things worsen as she encounters a Changeling beast that attempts to harm her in her stolen image. However, she also encounters her perceived nemesis Twilight Sparkle, but discovers that maybe vengeance isn't what she needs.

Using artistic license on the Changeling involved (I don't know if they all can do magic, but for the sake of the story, this one can), "Wide Gray Sky" is an experimental story working with the silent and nameless variants where there is no dialogue and the characters are unnamed to put more emphasis on their actions, gestures, and so on. An oddity considering my general dislike of Trixie, but ultimately, a good short story to flesh out in the end.

Before anyone asks, I'm not a Twilight/Trixie (or "Twixie"-that sounds like a candy bar) shipper, although I have read some decent Twixie works. This is just how the story developed. Funny where stories lead, huh?

An amnesiac gray colt named Gray Moon appears in Ponyville and is helped by Fluttershy and Twilight Sparkle while being plagued by nightmares of a pursuing malignant horned shadow. Seeking to help ease his distress with a projection spell, Twilight uncovers the distant memory a proto-Ponyville settlement ravaged by a former associate of Princess Celestia. Not long afterwards, a mysterious blackgray alicorn attacks Canterlot and attempts to assassinate the Princess and others, saying he is "Zero Wing" and declaring himself to be the savior of a meaningless existence. As the story progresses, Twilight and Fluttershy attempt to aid Gray Moon in finding out the truth of the memory, all before Zero Wing makes one more attempt at erasing the world from existence.

This tale is written as a gift for a good friend who is a fan of MLP. And it is dedicated to him and all other friends and associates who are as well.
