Don't worry, I tend to spread the word as much as I can. Having both worked in the Mental Health field for nearly a decade, as well as experiencing severe anxiety, depression, and PTSD myself, I understand only too well how important it is to be as open and direct about the concepts as possible. Destigmatization is one of the greatest challenges when it comes to mental health, and nobody should be afraid to discuss it.

This story resonated quite strongly for that reason. People suffer enough from mental health issues as it is, but the voiceless (metaphorically or literally) suffer so much more. It was nice to read a story that really focused on the nature of that issue, and how important empathy is for those who can not properly express what they're going through.

I normally have some sort of cute or funny achievement to give people for one of my works. Having experienced the worst depression I've ever been through coupled with a string of anxiety attacks while also experiencing homelessness, I can confirm that depression to the point of suicidal inclinations is no joke. I am literally only alive today because of my girlfriend choosing to be with me and keeping my depression from spiraling into suicide. I'm glad you're enjoying my story, please spread the word to everyone you know that depression is a real problem and there are resources if someone finds themselves in that particular place emotionally.
