I have completed Army Basic Combat Training and graduated on February 17, 2012. A big accomplishment for sure, and I feel great to have done so much. My life can truly begin now, but I'm not done with training yet. I'm now in AIT, and though I forgot what the acronym means, it's essentially where I learn all about my job and how to do it.

Well, it's time for training once more!

I leave on January 2nd, so the next couple of days will be with me mostly getting ready to go. I may not have enough time to finish more chapters, but that will come once I'm done.
I graduate BCT (basic combat training (boot camp)) February 17. After that, I move to AIT, which is where I will learn about the job I'm going to be doing (field artillery guy :D)

Here I am, back home for the holidays! Well... not exactly.
The U.S. army has given me 2 weeks of Exodus during christmas time so that soldiers in BCT (Basic Combat Training) and AIT (where we get out training for our actual job) can go home and spend time with their families.

In about 24 hours, I'll be leaving for a hotel which I will be staying at overnight, paid for by the army. At 6 am of the following morning, I will be driven to MEPS to be processed and then be taken to an airport to fly to Fort Sill, Oklahoma.
I have little time left, and I wish to make it count.

I'm going on a (probably) multi-week long hiatus. In this time I will be learning how to write better.
Currently my weakest points are, but not restricted to...
1: Emotions. I am a very logical person, and I have less than average skills when dealing with emotional issues and the progression of emotions with characters.
2: Planning. Every story I have ever written has been written out on the fly. I need to plan more for further progress.
