On only my second story and I got featured, peaking at spot three and holding at spot four before finally dripping down the chart. It's like someone took that crap one night and threw it at the wall, but then when the hot summer day rolled over, it became a runny mess and slowly dribbled its way down.

Sigh.

Characters are pretty much fleshed out; all's left is the details and quirks. I've stopped writing it until I: 1) Believe the characters are complete, and 2) Have a few more stories and genres under my belt. I have to say, though, it's invigorating to be writing these other stories with a larger goal being worked towards. Less random, rare "I feel like writing!" moments and more like "Another day. Let's get writing."

I don't even know who I'm talking to right now. I'm mainly just posting this for cataloging purposes.

It started with a gimmick-of-sorts: 'what if Twilight died at her entrance exam, and instead of passing on, her soul bound to Spike, who was taken in as the royal protégé?'

Well, not a whole lot, really. Just the same two characters in the main timeline, inhabiting one body. Though I think it'd be cool to write for an echo and their host.
