Cozy Glow, Tirek, Chrysalis, all are names feared by many. However, after their defeat, memories of them have started to fade.

Not Twilight's though, no she's thought of the incident every day since she ascended to the throne, and today she had a very disquieting thought.

"Didn't Discord say he could see while like that? What about them?"

It only took a moment for them to die, got all smushed against the side of a bridge. Not a pleasant way to go, eh? Least, I didn't think it was.

The ponies didn't care though, they just scrubbed the green blood off that white bridge as if they were no more important than the stains they left behind.

This story would be best read after completing Chaotic Visage, but not required; everything should more or less make sense by the end of the story without any prior reading.

Ironhide lived a long life before his final post. He drove back the Griffon hordes at the Whitespine peaks, and helped hold the keep of Black Scale for a thousand days under constant siege.

From campaign to campaign he'd flown, wreathing himself in a cloak of fire and legend. All he has left is one little post. Guard duty, it almost seemed beneath him

Then a God greeted him at the gates.

He went everywhere he could, and then some places he couldn't! Of course, every journey has its end and every explorer has a destination, even if they don't know it.

Gold coin was on his way to that final destination that every explorer strides toward, but he sees one last thing to do before getting there. A journey's always more fun with a friend, right?

Royalty had put him here, and royalty would let him out.

A deal here, a concession there, and openings would appear.

A crack could break a marble statue, a drop of poison could ruin a meal, the smallest of errors could bring down anything.

How can a god be insane?

How can a god completely reject what is?

the answer?

He cant.

He can't be insane for a few simple reasons.

The main one being how this world works.

If the God thinks it should be, then it is, if he doesn't believe it, then it changes.

So how could a god be insane, if whatever he asserts, becomes truth?
