The Royal Sisters have long suspected Sombra to have been ruining the Crystal Empire, though have no proof. The Captain of the Royal Guard investigates, only to go missing. The Sisters investigate, and find that Sombra's desire for power is just the beginning of the onslaught that await the Royal Sisters.

A young pony named Wind Surfer decides to undertake the longest journey ever attempted by ponies: a solo flight circumnavigating the globe. Wind Surfer will document everything she encounters, to share when she returns to Equestria. But can she hold her own against the wild, untamed forces of the outside world? What lies outside of Equestria, only the ancient Princesses will know.
