Equestria is peaceful.

Everything is perfect. Or at least, it will be. Every little event will go exactly as planned, and life will go on in nearly perfect harmony.

With only one, teensy, tiny bit of a miscalculation.

It has been a thousand years since the shadows of Equestria were cast back into the void from which they came, with broken dreams mended or forgotten and scarred hearts healing ever so slowly, the whole world itself had more or less moved on with the needless marring on its own history, and evolved to be far more peaceful.

But they didn't catch every bit of darkness.

A thousand years later, not a King Of Darkness, not an heir, not a tyrant, but a lost little 'prince' returns with nothing more than his forgotten title and a few scattered subjects, and with his return, it would seem as if the worlds turmoil begins once more, as the princesses suddenly disappear.

Now follow the aftermath of a thousand years of hiding as Twilight Sparkle and the mysterious new interloper descend into the shattered vault of a long forgotten people. One, trying to piece together the history of a new world, the other only trying to plunder it.

This story is a sequel to Memories Of The Flask

Nine hundred, and ninety nine years will pass, and that is all that it will know. It never made it past a thousand.

It has been, and will be, years since the death of their maker. But now marks the first day of their existence locked away in a vault against time.

Follow the story of a kingdom of ponies as it descends deeper and deeper into madness from beginning to end from the perspective of its ever observant and self-loathing founder, the epitome of hatred and death itself. Doomed from the very start, a perfect world with a flawed ruler and flawed magic.

A side-story from Memories Of The Flask and a sort of prologue for the events in a future story which I will link to when it is published.

A collection of interconnected stories and one-shots following the life, aftermath, and consequences caused by a curious piece of darkness created by Starswirl The Bearded. This is the story of a little shadow that dared to explore the light so many ohters called home. That is what these stories are about, of a soul stuck in the dark wanting to understand Equestria, and the consequences of reaching for the light.

This is not a happy tale.

All stories/chapters take place in chronological order.

Warning, contains various one-shots under the same universe/worldline. The final chapter has already been posted. Chapters will be posted as they are completed. Rereading encouraged!

This collection of lore is now complete. If there are any continuations done by me, I will organize them under here.

Aiden Pearce had gotten old.

With so many years under his belt after humble beginnings as a simple contractor and hired gunman, to his time as the vigilante in both Detroit and London- even his part in the murder of Olivier Garneau, it would be a no brainer that as he was inching closer and closer to his golden years to unofficially retire to the safehouses he knew in Detroit.

Now with almost no reason, he finds himself in Equestria, struggling to adapt, let alone put the past behind him as it slowly makes its way to surface once again.
