The time has come to retire my faithful old laptop. It's held together with tape at this point, the keyboard has been playing up for months and it's just getting on in years. It's served me well, but I need something new... something that isn't held together with tape.

During the bushfires, we rescued a young lorikeet we named Lori. In a matter of days he worked his way into our hearts and quickly became a part of the family. We all loved him, and he loved us. Even the dog; his best friend. The two were inseperable.

That's Lorri, the lorrikeet we rescued. Happy, friendly, healthy, friends with the dog and fond of singing his little heart out every night at 3am.
Such an adorable little alarm clock. I almost don't mind having to get up and scratch his head to quiet him down, the feather-headed little blighter.
