The Solar Scepter. An artifact shared between the Princesses, over a thousand years ago, when they ruled together. After the Nightmare Moon incident, Princess Celestia had it locked away deep beneath Canterlot Castle, pained by the memory of her sister but hopeful they could share it once again.

That time has come. With Princess Luna's return, Celestia has once again revealed the Solar Scepter, and is now touring across Equestria with it, with Luna by her side.

Their next stop is Manehattan, where a particularly pesky pair of pilfers set their sights on the artifact. Can the Manehattan Guard, along with the Mare do Well, protect this priceless piece of history? Or will these two thieves pull off the greatest heist in Equestria's history?

Part Three of the Red Hoof Trilogy

Things continue to spiral out of control in Manehattan. With the unstable Abacus out of the picture for now, Snow Storm sets her sights squarely on locating the Red Hoof's base of operations, and the Red Hoof himself.

But ponies like the Red Hoof always have one last ace in the hole: Charade, a pegasus whose martial arts prowess rivals even our beloved hero. Snow Storm will have to be quick on her hooves, or even come up with a few new tricks, to keep up with his new adversary of hers.

With the Guard on high alert, Snow Storm's ever-increasing band of friends, and the Red Hoof growing more and more agitated, it's only a matter of time before they all come face to face in a final showdown.

Being the captain of Equestria's most renowned aerobatics team is a stressful, and sometimes thankless, job. Her joints ache; her muscles are taut; her mind reels from the sheer responsibility. But, like any professional, Spitfire takes it all in stride with a grin.

That is, until a certain rainbow-maned mare started mouthing off. Being accused of 'Camera Hogging' was the final straw. Spitfire finally lost her temper, dumping every ounce of that responsibility on an unwitting rookie and leaving for a single day of respite.

This story details her day of (mostly) relaxation.

(A/N: Spitfire's Day Off is a side-story to Blitz, taking place parallel to "A Very Long Day" chapter arc.)

Edit 03/07/2012: Changed format from triple-asterisk to Horizontal Rule and Sub-Chapter number. Looks much better, in my own opinion.
