It's been years since the mane 6 were once together as a group. Since then, each member have gone on their own journey and each have been pretty successful at it. Until one day, Rainbow Dash unexpectedly injures himself during a Wonderbolts practice session and is forced to leave the unit. Unable to support herself financially, Rainbow leaves her hometown behind to start a new life as a wandering traveler secretly hoping to one day encounter a certain pony she's had feelings for ever since her youth.

Scootaloo is now the military ambassador of Equestria. Unfortunately, on one of her missions, Scootaloo runs into a desert storm and crashes into the ground breaking her left wing. Having nothing but a canteen of water to survive off of and no sign of any civilization, all hopes seems lost for Scootaloo. That is until she meets a mysterious young colt that appears in the desert in the middle of nowhere. Inspired and based on the classic "The Little Prince" although not exactly the same story. Ever since the local dentist Colgate moved into town, Bon Bon's shop has steadily decreased in customers. Nowadays, Bon Bon will be lucky to make one sale a day. Facing debt problems due to maintaining the shop's rent, Bon Bon is considering pursuing another career. That is until one day she hears the sound of a lyre player calling her with music. This lyre player might just be what Bon Bon needs in order to save her shop.
