Drowning in schoolwork at the moment. Still alife, but it's slow work...

I am relatively new to writing stories and need help.

My first (and currently and only) story has already gotten 2 downvotes and i haven’t gotten any solid criticism, or criticism in general. I don’t know how to improve because of that.

Any tips or tricks?
