I watched it when it premiered. I have concrete memories of watching this with my Generation One Bluestreak when I was five years old, going on six. For a show designed to sell toys, it went above and beyond anyone's expectations. Now, thirty years later, it's still going strong. And I'll be along for the ride.

Yesterday's news about Robin Williams' passing was a punch to the gut for me. What makes that weird for me is that, it's been a while since I've seen anything he's been in. It's a situation I plan on remedying as soon as possible, though. I remember him in Mork,. Mrs. Doubtfire, the live-action Popeye movie, Aladdin and a lot of other roles. His comedy was rapid-fire, almost too fast to follow. I'll miss him.

Just got back from seeing it. The movie is made of win. A surprisingly tearjerker of a beginning, action and comedy and some touching moments all the way through. I know nothing of the comics this came from, but just... wow.
