Retirement has not been kind to Celestia. Pushed by boredom, she disguises herself as an average pony, and she heads west. Unfortunately, she's picked up a traveling companion that was not a part of the plan. Now, heading out into the jungles of the Equestrian frontier, Celestia and Marble Venture find themselves forced to survive while darker forces work in the shadows.

Meanwhile, Luna attempts to be social.

On a peaceful night, High Princess Twilight Sparkle discovers a thief in her quarters, and while dealing with him, discovers that he is actually in her employ. She insists that he has no place in her Kingdom, and the thief, Night Silk, disagrees. Now, with his job on the line, Night strives to prove that he is exactly who she needs to work the underworld.

After all, he's not just a thief.

He is a Master Thief.

Being a Runner isn't easy.

Life in the deep, dark shadows cast by the Mega-corporations that rule Equestria is hard enough, but for Runners it's especially hard. This has more to do with the fact that your job basically requires you to be shot at, but, hey, it's a living. Rarity's living, specifically.

Of course, now that she and her team has taken this new job, things are about to get a whole lot worse.

It has been thirty years after the founding of Equestria. The three tribes constantly bicker and fight, the wild frontier is filled with dangerous beasts, and the cities are filled with crazed revolutionaries and saboteurs.

Thieves and assassins roam the shadows, and powerful nobles from the old world all have their money on when this "precious little utopia" fails. One in particular, Baron Jet, has decided to destroy this hopeful land of light with his own two hooves.

And all the while, one stallion just wants a shot at a normal life under the clear, blue sky.

Two hundred years ago, Spike the dragon watched the mare he loved die in his arms. On that night, he swore vengeance, and he would not be denied.

Now he runs the most secret, most powerful military organization in the world.

It's not an easy job. One mistake could cost a life, and whole teams have gone missing in a single night. Yet still Spike continues his vigil, and still he pushes these ponies to fight and keep the world safe from its hidden threats.

Zombies, lycans, vampires, ghosts; it's simply too much for a team of ponies to handle.

But by Celestia, Silver Dust is going to try.

After all, when the Department of Supernatural and Paranormal Investigation calls, you are duty bound to answer.

Sunset was enjoying her day, going through school as she was expected to do, when she's suddenly called to the Principal's office.

Confused, but with little choice in the matter, she answers, heading to Celestia's office. There, she finds the Principal sitting, wanting to have a chat.

Sunset was not prepared for anything like this.
