There was this old saying: Best to let sleeping kirin lie, lest you rekindle their flame.
The idiom does no justice to the kirin. From my experience, equating their heat to that of an old argument was like comparing Celestia's sun to a candle—absolutely inadequate. An argument was mundane, bitter, and lasted what felt like forever. A kirin was the exact opposite.
And… well, in my mind, our story deserved to be immortalized. I wanted something to remember her by—even if it was, in all likelihood, a unnecessary endeavor. For how could I ever forget?
Written for Bean’s Writing Group prompt #2, “You shouldn’t let kirins lie to you”.

Princess Luna was growing tired of all the myths that had sprung up over the thousand years of her banishment. Legend was never as impactful as history, and it was important for ponies to know the stories as the latter. With Hearth’s Warming coming up, she worked with her marefriend Coco Pommel to help design accurate costumes for the pageant. Truly accurate, down to the very weave of the fabric. Though it wouldn't solve all of the historical inaccuracies, presenting the true appearance of Equestria's founders to the eyes of the herd would be a step in the right direction.
But to Coco Pommel, something about Luna's demeanor as they worked on the costumes had been… off. And she would wish that she had confronted Luna sooner.

This story is a sequel to The Arrival
Dewdrop is a starving artist in a small town. But he’s received an important commission, and he has to make it perfect.
Everything is going well, until he gets into an ‘accident’ and loses all of his work.
After that, Dewdrop is stuck with no painting, and fewer operable limbs than usual. And why not add in two ponies flimflamming him out of his bits for an utterly unremarkable paintbrush.
Sometimes, life is full of surprises.
It's the Running of the Leaves again in Ponyville, and Scootaloo's decided to make up for lost time. But going for first place, especially with some fierce competition, is going to leave her feeling tired.
Fortunately, Sweetie Belle's got a solution. Unfortunately, somepony doesn't understand what that solution actually is.
Post Season 10. All characters are adults in this story.

Birdstrike has a talent for crashing into airships to determine what’s wrong. But what she doesn’t have is a talent for being invincible. Every time she uses her unique and potentially life-saving talent, she hurts herself.
That’s where Ice Box, a unicorn and one of Birdstrike’s bodyguards, comes into the picture. She can cast a protective freezing spell, allowing Birdstrike to exercise her talent without being hurt. Ice Box and her team help Birdstrike out whenever they go out on a job, testing airships.
But when Ice Box crosses horns with Iron Will over his new airship, things start going right. Well, depending on your definition of “right”.
