So I was doing some editing work on Rise of the Legend Chapter 001, and I got a little stuck on how to describe a particular part. It wouldn't be that difficult if not for the fact that I have no idea how I could do it in a way that's not absurdly in the "tell" category.

Well, as I was considering it, I counted the pages and I realized how much I had done in a half hour compared to how slow my pace has been recently...

It took me long enough to get back on schedule and to get past that horrid page... I had to completely rewrite almost an entire page. Now that I've moved on to the next page and past that scene, though, I'm not completely rewriting what I've written, which is nice.

These past few days have been kind of horrible. I was going to point out how weird it is that these past few days have affected me a lot more than other things that should affect me more (well, if I were normal) than what's been happening, but oh well.

I'm sorry I didn't update this before. My sister came to visit and so I was distracted for a while.

More bad news: I took most of this week off from my schedule. I wasn't feeling well and it was pretty much entirely my own fault because I wasn't careful about making sure my chair was comfy. It sounds weird, but if I'm sitting in an extremely uncomfortable chair and I've done nothing about it, it can just wreck me.

Sorry about the late update. I kind of forgot to do it earlier because I've been taking the past couple days off from my schedule.

I have some good news and some bad news. The good news is that I very nearly doubled the time I set aside for writing, so I should be done sooner than I would have been otherwise.

Oh my glog is the editing of the first chapter taking a long time. The first chapter started out as 15 pages and I may end up doubling that before I'm done. And all that writing takes time.

I guess the good news for the future is that this past week hasn't been too good for editing, but this next week is looking good.

I am thinking, though, that I might need to find some additional time for editing. I'm lucky if I average a page per day.

Now that I'm finally back on schedule, I've been writing again. Yesterday, I finished the initial draft of the first chapter of The Sacrifice (name could use a little work, I think). Today, it was the initial draft of the prologue of Higher Dimensions (again, name could use some work).
