Whoo boy, this is a late status update. As expected, though, I made no progress, so this status update is rather pointless, I guess.

Still haven't come up with a name for the next fic, though.

It's going to need a lot of editing, though, so I guess I have time.

While my emotional status is fine, I've been working on my final project quite a bit. I just haven't had time to write, and I think I'm probably going to have to take a break for a while to rest my poor fingers (and also get back on schedule). That said, the final project is due on Monday at midnight and I give the presentation about it on Tuesday. Hopefully, it'll be done in time. The JavaScript part has me worried.

So a weekly update just so you know that I'm not dead: As expected, I made no progress on the story. I actually did consult a friend about the title, and he really couldn't think of anything. Other than that, I did take a step or two forward on getting back on schedule, but I took about fifty steps back on my emotional issues.

So Interlude 01 of Rise of the Legend is posted, long after I should have been finished with Chapter 002. Oh, and we still have one more installment to go before I start on chapter 002.

I'm angry at myself. I spent this past week obsessed with another project that I won't even be able to start, aside from research and planning, for over a month. I haven't done much except that, and it shows. I've got the first round of editing done on the next installment, but I haven't even started the second round.

Sometimes, obsessiveness can be very problematic. Certainly the project will be better for it, but all the things I should be doing in the interim are suffering.

I really should have been done with the next installment by now, but I've been having some trouble getting to bed on time, which as you all know, throws off my day. To make matters worse, it has nothing to do with insomnia. Rather, the issue is that I've been staying up late talking with a friend. And being distracted a bit, but that's not keeping me up as late as the talking (when we do talk). Heck, I was up until about 1 AM this past Wednesday (technically Thursday) because of how long we

This past week, I've been suffering from quite a bad bit of insomnia, which has put me off-schedule. I should be good in terms of insomnia for the next couple of days, which means I'll be on schedule at least for Tuesday and probably Wednesday. Whether or not that persists after Wednesday... we'll see.

In other words, though, I made no progress.

What's happening? Well, I'm on page 10 of the second editing process of Rise of the Legend chapter 001. Out of 13 pages total. I've gotten through all the majorly edited parts. Seriously, there was a whole page that was almost entirely tossed out the window, and I actually reduced the font, so I'm pretty sure that, under normal circumstances, it was a full page.
