Life's been... Well, not hard. There are plenty of worse things that could be happening. But while I'm not tired by the end of the day, and my muscles aren't burning or anything, my time is what's being used. No details, but I've only been able to type out a few words here and there at lunch break or whenever there's a spare moment.

I'm not like that, unfortunately. I'm the type of writer that likes to sit down for nine hours and slam everything out.

I'm not dead. Far from it. I have been busy though. I've been helping a friend with a project. Basically, he approached me for ideas, and I responded. Apparently I was the main source of ideas his project, though his experience as a professional editor really made the entire thing. A few months later, he's doing well for himself after his project got the green light. He payed me, so I guess that's nice and all. Also he makes the best iced tea and Teriyaki Chicken. Just submitted two stories. They've existed for months, but were never really polished up until now.

Personally, I couldn't be arsed when buying gifts and everything. I don't have many friends that close. However I do have a bunch of friends that also don't give a damn about gifts or tradition, so usually they just take the rest of us out to eat for the night or whatever. Some cheapo food parlor with greasy food, but it's genuinely fun.
